There are priceless lessons to be learned from water and its yielding flow. We often view the challenges in life as problems to be attacked. The resistance and force we expend is many times so much wasted energy.
Gandhi may be the best human example of the power of non-resistance. By his life and actions he demonstrated that tremendous change is possible without force or violence. The joyful sound of water flowing free in a mountain stream reveals the essence of its yielding nature. The pathway it patiently carves to the sea reveals its strength.
