Our experiences sometime transcend the senses. Music or birdsongs can be so enchanting they evoke visual images in our minds.
Beauty of nature or from the hands of master artists may seem to sing in colors and form. If we could hear and see all frequencies perhaps we could see music and listen to the stars!
It is not uncommon for artists to attempt to capture and express the sound of beauty or the beauty of sound. Mussorgsky's musical masterpiece, "Paintings at an Exhibition" is a wonderful example of being inspired by extraordinary beauty and "seeing" it as music.
