When we find ourselves moved into a silent, interior space, fullness and joy are the results. If we are fortunate, this happens spontaneously within the normal course of our daily lives. Often though, we must be creative in structuring our time if we would have the opportunity to be drawn into stillness.
People who regularly spend time in nature experience this frequently, though they may not think of their communion with nature in those terms.
Whatever our life routine, we can learn to watch for the "holes" in the noise and even the silent spaces in the music of our lives. Something we are looking for—is there waiting for us. |
