There are some headphones that are noise-canceling, and they promise to surround the listener in a realm of pure music. If we are fortunate enough to spend some time in nature where there are no sounds of civilization, we will experience pure music that is different and more ethereal than anything we will hear in our headphones.
Most of the time, the noise of civilization is present. But if we can walk outside where birds are singing, we can “tune in” to their music like a meditation. We can use our own noise-canceling concentration and drift away into Nature’s symphony. |
