How often do we pass off opportunities for inner reflection as dull and boring? A quiet atmosphere is actually a rare gift of potential adventure. It is naturally conducive to embarking upon the great journey within.
The mind will tell us that stillness is an intolerable bore! That is because it is its nature to be racing off at top speed in all directions at once. Only when the mind is under our control like the well trained horses of a carriage driver, will it take us to the destination we truly seek.
This is a well-worn concept from the Bhagavad Gita that will only be truly understood if it is put to the test. Only then will the dynamic energy and thrilling creativity that comes from stillness be revealed to us!
