Do you ever suddenly notice there is a wrestling match going on in your mind? Should I? Shouldn't I? What should I do? Should I have done that? On and on until we are just worn out.
It is not a standard part of our education to learn how to find answers to vexing problems through quiet contemplation. It rarely occurs to us that answers might come when the mind is quiet—answers that cannot be perceived in the midst of our mental debate.
And yet, this is where creative genius finds answers to life's most difficult problems and inspiration for artistic masterpieces.
