Just opening the door and walking outside when the day is new can open a door within to a world of fresh life and lightness of spirit. Birds singing and sailing gracefully through the air, the touch of a crisp morning breeze, can seem dreamlike in their sublime beauty.
For a moment they lift one from the realm of time, into the eternal now. Here and now is all we ever really have, but we spend so much time in past and future we miss much of what is really happening. We miss the miracle of the present moment.
It is only in the flow of now that birds sing and gentle breezes blow.
