This is a beautiful thought and a comforting utterance that only holds truth for us if we believe, or if we have direct experience.
Some of us believe the end of our life is a return to nothingness. Some profess a belief in an afterlife they cling to out of fear. Others are inspired by, and have faith in a religion, a prophet, a teacher or a teaching. They believe because of their faith and enjoy that peace. Still others, must know for themselves. They follow a teaching or teacher that claims we can have direct experience of our Source—if we will walk the path to stillness.
