There is a Jewish quote, "Days pass and the years vanish, and we walk sightless among miracles."
Is it not true that every day of our life is bursting with miracles? When we stop to think about how miraculous is our very existence, we realize it is simply beyond our comprehension. We need only to remember to look at the ordinary things around us without analysis or judgment to experience them with wonder and awe! Watching a bird fly or listening to its song, and just being present, lifts us out of the mundane and into the realm of transcendent joy.
Alas, "days pass and the years vanish, and we walk sightless among miracles." But, here in the present moment, we may choose to open our eyes.
