At times we may want to talk to the Source of this creation. We know little for certain, but we do know something exists. We also know something we call consciousness exists because we experience our own existence. Whatever exists came from somewhere, and developed and evolved out of something.
This is the Great Mystery and we often want to relate to its creator in a personal way. India’s Rig Veda says, “Truth is One, sages call it by various names.” The ocean is still the ocean no matter in which language it is spoken. God is still God no matter which name we use in our calling. So, however we call out to God, Buddha, Jesus, Allah, Krishna, Mother, Father or the Universe, we are heard—and if we listen closely enough, we are answered.
