How fragile this vehicle of flesh and bones! Given the extremely narrow band of conditions required for us to live, it is surprising there is any place in the universe we can survive! Between the hottest and lowest possible temperatures lies the perfect balance for life as we know it. This is a very precise and narrow set of requirements and it is right here on earth. Here we can live and thrive. We experience our life-force and have the feeling that it will go on forever.
However, it profits us to recognize how fragile and temporary our physical existence is. Then we are truly grateful for how abundantly nature provides for our physical bodies and for the Spirit traveling within.
