The wisdom of nature surrounds us, if we will but listen. She teaches us to let the seasons of our life unfold naturally and to move in step with the rhythm of events.
When great difficulty challenges and overwhelm, us we can withdraw our energies and consciousness from the outer world. We can seek our healing and renewal within just as plants in a desert region withdraw their life force from the scorching heat into the refuge of their roots. In meditation we find the source of our strength, resilience and wisdom.
