The mind wants to wrestle with everything. It wants to analyze, categorize, organize, tear apart and put back together everything it encounters on the vast stage of life! Our mind tries to understand and rationally prove everything it contemplates. Since this is an impossible task our mental activity never ceases. And yet it is only when we are still that the answers that cannot be grasped with the rational mind emerge.
The answers to the big questions, "Who am I?" and "What is my purpose?" are always there, waiting in the mysterious depths of stillness within each of us. Our minds resist but our hearts draw us to the wholeness that only comes in letting go.
