We search for something lasting and permanent but we only shop in the marketplace of time. We long for wholeness but never look outside the walls of separation we call our "self."
There is nothing wrong with working toward and enjoying success and the gifts of this world. The danger lies in thinking we will find inner fulfillment and our true sense of worth in material possessions, relationships or worldly success. Our wholeness is not found in the content of our life but in its Source. All that we possess, achieve, and experience in this life will come and go.
From where does it come and to where does it go? This is the question that will lead us to our heart's treasure.
