Inspired poetry of the masters can lift our consciousness, thrill our minds and dazzle our imagination. And yet, the words themselves stand between us and the Source of their inspiration. But, if we learn to look through the veil of language to the inspiration the words spring from, they have served us well.
Words may fill our minds with the wonder of extraordinary natural beauty, but to see the ocean for the first time is to experience something no words can express. If we can see through the words to the inspiration, we will be moved to see the ocean for ourself.
