On the inside, the cloudy skies of our minds hide the inner light of our own higher consciousness. We barely notice. But, on the outside it is easy to see that clouds are hiding the sun. At times we long for the sky to clear so we might once again enjoy the warmth and light of the sun.
If we can carry this analogy into our minds it will help us recognize our plight. This can encourage us to sweep away the clouds of our thoughts and reveal the Light that is always shining.
