When we are dry and parched we can think about only one thing—water. Without water, there is a point when our thirst must be quenched or we will die. There is another thirst, a thirst for wholeness, for knowing our source and purpose. This is a thirst of the soul for Truth.
There comes a time when this thirst must be quenched and it is only the Light of truth that will do it. When nothing else in this world will satisfy, a pathway opens up through the jungle of desires and dreams. It leads to a well of stillness where our soul can drink its fill.
