We may or may not believe in a Divine being or consciousness we can communicate with. Yet we have all felt the presence of something wonderful that we sense we are somehow connected with. It might happen when we are swept into the spontaneous joy of an infant's laughter or the sublime beauty of an ocean sunset.
For a moment the rough edges of our interaction with life dissolve and we slip effortlessly into the present moment. We relax into the now like easing into a warm bath. Whatever we call these experiences they are portals to the Truth we are seeking—and we will not be satisfied until it is found.
