All we know of life and the universe, we experience within the very limited sphere of our own minds. To us, everything we know about creation is related to, and revolves around, something we call "me." If there weren't so many tragic consequences of this state of consciousness it would simply be hilarious.
As we awaken to the realization that we are just a tiny part in the whole of creation we see that in fact there is no separate self. There is simply Consciousness itself, dwelling inside a walking package of senses, and living in a temporary set of life circumstances. In truth, there is nothing about our lives, what we accomplish or acquire, that is ultimately of any great significance or importance. On a cosmic scale the earth itself is a blip on the radar screen of time.
But who we really are, the resplendent spark within each of us that is a part of the eternal Flame—is grand beyond measure.
