Have you ever awakened to see the morning sunlight stealing in around the edges of the curtains? The room is still mostly dark but you can sense the radiant sun shining on the other side. When you throw open the curtains the light is immediately present, filling the room, shining on your face and dazzling your eyes. What could stop the light once the shades are drawn open?
So it is with the whole shadowy room of our interior being. When the curtains of our thoughts have been opened to stillness our inner room is illumined.
