The sun, the sky, the earth and the animals have a morning ritual. The sky welcomes the sun as the stars melt into its light. The earth warms to its touch and the plants and animals slowly awaken. At the break of dawn there is a sacred hush, a stillness and peace that flows into the mighty river of activity and life of a new day.
There is no church, synagogue or temple more holy than a sunrise in the stillness of nature. There is no prayer more fervent than the sparrow's song, no praise more worthy than rose petals opening to greet the sun.
