The finest and most inspired of all the world's artistic masterpieces could never hope to compare to the beauty that inspired them. Still, we owe a great debt of gratitude to the artists who are able to express and reflect what they see around them. They draw our attention and awareness to ethereal beauty we often do not recognize even when we are looking directly upon it.
Some grasp the greatness of the painting or the symphony and see no further. For others the works of artistic masters are beautiful in themselves and at the same time a welcome reminder of the Source of their inspiration.
