There is a wonderful realm of inspiration beyond our thoughts and feelings. This doesn't mean they are not valid or valuable. They have important functions in our lives and marvelous gifts to offer—but there is more. There is a creativity, an energy, a joy that emerges only in stillness.
What if you knew the secret to your happiness was constantly being whispered in your consciousness, so softly it was almost silent? What if even the slightest wisp of a thought would obscure it? Wouldn't you listen with every fibre of your being for that "still small voice?" The mind is a wonderful instrument but we have no idea the misery it creates until we drop our cares into stillness.
