We are more comfortable clinging to who we think we are, even when it causes us misery and hopelessness, than we are with letting go and experiencing the joy of Oneness.
In Oneness there is no “I”, no separation. There is no “me” that has mysteriously become the One but is somehow still “me”—there is just One.
It is only when the bubble breaks that it becomes one with the ocean. The bubble is our “I”, our separateness, our pain. Each of us is alone in our bubble, crying out for Oneness, and terrified the bubble might burst!
