The world promises happiness if we buy the right things, look the right way, dress the right way, accomplish certain things, marry the right person, etc. Though we soon find out that these are often empty promises, many of us continue pursuing our happiness by chasing these dreams for the whole of our lives.
We often do find genuine happiness in nature, when we feel the stillness and just witness the awesome beauty. We don’t have a desire to “possess” the beauty of nature, we just enjoy it and are moved. We are moved into a place within us where our true joy lives and waits for us, ever faithful and true.
