We say the moon is shining but actually it only reflects the light of the sun. Similarly, we often credit people with their brilliance when something greater is shining through them. We may even call them “stars.” But, how much more at peace we are when we are aware that anything we do is the result of a greater power working through us.
We all know that we did nothing to create the gifts we have, we simply make use of what has been given to us. How can we take credit for anything? Would anyone claim to have created a tree because they took a seed and planted it?
