For those who quietly watch the dance of nature there is an intimacy of earth and sky that rouses one from the slumber of the world of cares. Gently the sun floats up into the sky of a new day and touches the earth with warmth and light. All life awakens and greets the dawn. When we are consciously a part of this unfolding of creation, we feel something we call love.
We "love" the beauty of the sunrise and the light cascading through the leaves. This is not an abstract description of our experience, it is the beginning of a larger truth. In the truest sense Love is the recognition of our connection with a person, nature, the universe. When we feel that connection we say we are "in love."
