It seems to be the nature of fears that they do not easily go away. They usually have to be faced, and most of the time when they are faced they dissipate rapidly or are exposed for the frauds they often are. So many of our fears are merely fantasy creations of our mind. We suffer needlessly under their threat, sometimes for years.
If we can learn to face our fears, breathe them in, and if necessary take action from a calm place, we will live in greater peace and with more joy. We lose the fear of drowning by learning to swim.
