The realization that we cannot begin to comprehend eternity or infinity helps us understand the limitations of the mind. The mind is vast and powerful but there are wonders that are simply beyond its grasp.
We try so hard to find and hold on to permanent happiness only to discover again and again that everything in life changes. There is nothing tangible in this life that we can hold on to forever. Love in its highest form is the one thing that will last forever, but it is not something we can "hold on" to. We must let go and lose ourselves in love to find it. To know Love requires consciousness that is beyond that of the mind.
