MARCH 18th

A new fault line has appeared
in the bedrock of my “self”

An earthquake of Truth has shattered
the security of my disguise

        It is truly a great blessing when something shakes the foundation of our sense of self! This can be painful since that something that we thought of as “me” is dying. It is extremely challenging when we lose something we strongly identify with such as a job, a relationship, financial security, or physical abilities.

These are not experiences we would ask for, and yet they are always opportunities to let go of that false sense of who we think we are.

Who we are is something far greater that any of the roles we play in the drama of our life. Who we are is the Source we have come from, and will return to, after the final curtain is drawn in our life’s grand play—or perhaps before!
