Shafts of sunlight
through a canopy of green

Soothe my mind and fall softly
on the garden of my heart

        There are some things that science will never be able to explain, describe or verify because they are beyond what can be grasped by science. Science requires observation, thought and verification. What about That which is beyond thought? For example, how can we examine or define feelings of the “heart” in scientific terms?

These are things for which no scientific proof is possible—or needed! We can cultivate love, compassion and joy, or we can harbor resentment, hatred and bitterness. If we choose we can seek out daily miracles in nature, that plant in us seeds of awe, reverence and transcendent joy. The choice is ours!
