Today's Daily Inspiration

MARCH 22nd

And the liquid melody of the creek
full with winter rains

Running swift through the canyon
to keep a rendezvous with the sea

        All the universe is singing a song. We hear it in the gentle breeze and the howling winds, rippling in the creek and roaring at the shore. It dances in rain rhythms on rooftops and fills the air with birdsongs. Everywhere is the music of creation forever flowing in the present moment.
In the song of life, all around and within us, is the longing of the river to reach the sea. Simultaneously, within this music of life, is contained the wholeness of the ocean.

Every thought, every action, every word of our lives is a part of this one great song. It impels us to flow ever onward toward the mysterious goal of wholeness—and at the same time draws us into the stillness of its realization.
